Jihai received a Ph.D. from Imperial College London. After that, he worked at various prominent, international banks, including RBS, UBS, Barclays, and HSBC. He began working on DevOps in 2012 as the UK's Barclays bank's DevOps Lead/Champion. In order to oversee the DevOps/DevSecOps transformation for more than 1500 development professionals, he was transferred to HSBC Technology China in 2018 from the HSBC London headquarters. Jihai has been invited to speak at over 30 conferences between 2018 and 2021 to discuss his experience with DevOps and DevSecOps. Additionally, Jihai is the author of the book "DevSecOps Practice."
